Connector Type: The J1772 connector is the side of the charger that plugs into your vehicle, not the electricity source. This covers most home chargers. You may hear about other types of charge connectors such as CHAdeMO or Tesla chargers, but these are incompatible with the J1772 charge port on Genesis EVs.
Home Chargers: Any Level 2 home charger that has a J1772 connector should be compatible with your Genesis EV, but you will want a Level 2 charger with sufficient power to charge your vehicle faster.
Level 1 home chargers all connect to standard 120V regular US electricity sockets. Any Level 1 charger with a J1772 connector is compatible with your Genesis EV or PHEV.
Public Chargers: Genesis EVs have a CCS connection socket. Most public fast chargers have CCS connection plugs and are compatible with Genesis EVs, the only exception are Tesla fast chargers which are not compatible.
